A field of 39 runners competed in the Two Street Station
Chocolate Chip Challenge. The top three winners in each category won a dozen
oversized chocolate chip cookies from Two Street Station. The race started at
the UAF Patty Center taking runners first into the infamous icy and odiferous
blasts of the Experimental Farm pig sty headwind, and then over the remainder of
the sometimes icy and treacherous 6.5 Mile Miller Hill course. The course's
usual rough area, the Farmer's Loop bike path, was free of snow today - enjoy it
while it lasts.
