The 7th annual Jamestown 5k took place on Saturday, March 1st and
thank goodness it wasn't the day before. On the day preceding the
race
there were winds gusting up to 25 M.P.H and higher! I marked the
course
on that day and I was just hoping that it would mellow by the next
morning.
It did, and 11 brave souls showed up to run and I think they were pretty
happy about the milder conditions and even stuck around after the race
to
chat, drink some hot chocolate and have some of Lulus's bagels.
Thanks to all that braved the still, sub-zero temps (with only mild
winds)
to come out for our little race on the trails! Kat
