Extremely warm weather prevails in Fairbanks at the end of January, especially in the hills. About a dozen snowshoers tried out the Alder Creek trails for the first time, and the cow and calf moose stayed under cover today. Rocky Reifenstuhl at 32:50 and Gail Koepf at 40:07 were the winners.
