Fahrenheit Be Darned Winter Training Runs
Fahrenheit Be Darned is a winter training series sponsored by RCN to give people the opportunity and incentive to keep running throughout the winter in Fairbanks. We readily admit that it is often the case that we look at the current temperature and think we’ll just wait until tomorrow to do that run we were thinking about. But we also know that getting out in the middle of an Alaskan winter is easier when we know there will be other like-minded and similarly-impaired people who will be there to run no matter what the weather. So if you’re looking for motivation to keep you running through the winter, come join us in the UAF Patty Center lobby every Wednesday evening at 5:45pm from October through March. We will have a run planned no matter what the weather and whatever the holiday schedule.
