Drew’s Angel Creek 50 km and 50 mile in the Chena Hot Springs area are among the premier summer long-distance trail races in the Interior. Running Club North seeks an experienced race director to take over directing these races starting in 2027 for up to three years and to work with the current director as an understudy in 2026. Both the understudy and race director are compensated positions. The races are held in early August of each year. More details on the events can be found at angelcreek50.org.
Qualifications:
- Experience directing a complex trail running event at least the distance of a marathon.
- Experience running remote, rugged ultra trail races.
- Trail race volunteer experience.
- Proven management skills.
