The Musk Ox Trail Run was held this year on Saturday, August 23. A field of 36 runners participated under drizzly and foggy skies. In 2015, the race distance was changed from 11 miles to 13.1 miles (approx.). This year, the overall and men’s division winner was Sam Zielke. Sam’s time of 1:26:34 crushed the previous record of 1:33:27 set by Devin McDowell in 2015. Please congratulate Sam when you see him!
The women’s record time of 1:38:51 was set in 2024 by Dana Fjare and still stands. A challenge for next year?
