The Tanana Valley Bar Association’s 2017 1st Annual “Traditional Law Days” Race Judicata will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Rabinowitz Courthouse. This is a 5K race that will begin on the front of the Rabinowitz Courthouse Steps, wind alongside the Chena River toward Ft. Wainwright, and turn around to return, remaining entirely on the sidewalk. The TVBA wants to generate interest in aspiring youth of the legal profession, promote professional and ethical legal standards, and make the public aware that the attorneys of Fairbanks are here for them in all capacities; we hope you can join in on the run and fun!

TVBA is a non-profit organization that consists of attorneys in Fairbanks. The TVBA attorneys reach out to the Fairbanks community and contribute to its well-being. The TVBA attorneys donate their legal services to members of the public at the annual Martin Luther King Day event, where free legal advice is given to individuals. Attorneys from the TVBA also provide legal advice to veterans and those in the military at military appreciation events that take place in Pioneer Park. The TVBA also assists with the Fairbanks Youth Court and provides attorneys to them to assist with mock trials.
