The Jim Loftus Mile has been postponed to Thursday, July 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the West Valley H.S. track. This is the 3rd event in the Usibelli Running Series (ages 18-and up) and the Usibelli Youth Running Series (open to those ages 10-17). New this
year is an 800m run for kids ages 9 and under. The 800m was Jim’s signature event!
Update: Because of the postponement, we’ve re-opened registration until July 7th at 5PM. If you registered when it was to be June 25th, there is no need to register again. However, if you won’t be able to race on July 9th, please email Tracey at email@example.com to cancel your registration.
You can register online here.
Early registration entry fees are as follows:
800m, 9-and-under: free
1 mile, ages 10-17: free
1 mile, adult, RCN member: free
1 mile, adult, non-RCN member, $5 (payable at the track on Thursday evening)
If you do NOT register online prior to July 7th at 5 PM, you will have to register at the track on Thursday night and pay an extra $5 to cover late registration costs.
So do yourselves a big favor (and the race directors, too!) and sign up early!
Not running the Mile? We can use 8 volunteers to help with timing and chute wrangling/spindling. No experience necessary. 🙂
Note: If you tried to register multiple family members on your email address, but were prevented because your email was already in the system, please try again. We fixed that problem.
