Jane LeBlond (MS, RD, and runner extraordinaire) recently gave a presentation on nutrition guidelines for before, during, and after the Equinox Marathon. She provided insights into what types of food to eat during the weeks of training and how to adjust that in the final two days before the run. She then outlined a couple options for breakfast on the day of the marathon, what to take during the run, and how to best recover immediately after the run. Jane’s recommendations will help us prepare and perform better in the Equinox Marathon and any other long distance races we undertake in our running careers.
